ROSELLA JAM

Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is a tropical bush tucker originating from Sri Lanka. It was introduced millennia ago by Indonesian fishers, adding to the rich tapestry of deep cultural exchange. Revered and celebrated during an annual top-end festival, this hibiscus plant has evolved to a unique Australian version producing strikingly red, edible calyxes that are high in vitamin C. Rosella is a versatile culinary delight, commonly featured in an array of salads, jellies, sauces, delectable jams and iced-teas.  Let's Jam! ROSELLA style! ROSELLA JAM : © iZZY iBiS & FRiENDZ!
