GRAPHiC FLUTTERER
The Graphic Flutterer (Rhyothemis graphiptera), with its distinctive metallic-sheen patterned wings, is a dragonfly species often seen in large flocks towards the end of the wet season and the beginning of the dry season in the Top End. Much celebration is had when these beauties start appearing in numbers because the cooler dry-season is upon us. It is believed they migrate north to Indonesia later in the dry season, when we all get in a flutter because the dreaded build-up (cry-season) is nearing! GRAPHiC FLUTTERER : © iZZY iBiS & FRiENDZ!
